Legal and accounting information
Barion accounts and bookkeeping
Barion runs electronic money accounts for merchants, in multiple currencies. Payments are credited to these accounts, in the appropriate currency. Depending on the country of origin, you, as a merchant, may be mandated by law to include the account information in your books.
Payments are credited to your account immediately after payment is made, so prepare invoices and do bookkeeping accordingly. Many payment service providers credit payments at a later time, usually in batches. Your legislation might require some action, such as creating an invoice, upon arrival of funds.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a proprietary information security standard for organizations that handle branded credit cards from the major card schemes including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. The PCI Standard is mandated by the card brands and administered by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. The standard was created to increase controls around cardholder data to reduce credit card fraud.
Barion is PCI DSS certified. Since you, as a merchant do not handle cardholder data, PCI DSS certification for merchants using Barion payment is not mandatory.
